What IroPay Is
IroPay is non-custodial software: an application that lets you hold USDC (a digital dollar) in a wallet whose keys exist only on your device, and pay or get paid wallet-to-wallet on the Solana blockchain. IroPay LLC never holds, transfers, invests, or controls user funds, and is not a bank, a payment institution, an exchange, or a custodian. Every transaction is created and signed on your device, by you.
Fees
- IroPay commission: 0%. The application charges no commission on payments, deposits, or transfers, and requires no subscription.
- Solana network fee. Every blockchain transaction pays a small network fee (a fraction of a cent), which goes to the Solana network, not to IroPay.
- Optional fee relays. If your wallet holds no SOL, a relay service can pay the network fee for you. Relays charge the fee displayed at the moment of payment: hosted relays charge up to 1% of the amount, and a free relay is available at no charge. Advanced users holding a little SOL pay their own network fee directly and use no relay at all.
- Third-party providers. Card deposits, bank withdrawals, and currency conversion are performed by third-party providers (such as Coinbase), which charge their own fees, shown in their own flow.
Your wallet is a standard Solana wallet: you can always import your 12-word recovery phrase into any compatible wallet application. Your wallet, your money, your rules.
Self-Custody and Your Responsibility
By using IroPay, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You hold your own keys. Your private keys and recovery phrase are generated and stored exclusively on your device (plus, if you choose, in the optional backup to your own cloud account). IroPay LLC does not have access to them at any time.
- No recovery possible by IroPay. If you lose your device, your recovery phrase, and your backups, your funds are permanently inaccessible. IroPay LLC has no ability to recover, reset, or restore your wallet. This is by design: it is what makes the service non-custodial and ensures only you control your funds.
- Irreversible transactions. Transactions on the Solana blockchain are final. IroPay LLC cannot cancel, reverse, or refund a transaction once it has been submitted to the network. Always verify the recipient address and amount before confirming.
- No liability for lost funds. IroPay LLC bears no responsibility for loss of funds resulting from lost keys, forgotten credentials, device loss or theft, unauthorized access, phishing, user error, blockchain or network failures, or the acts of third-party providers.
Refunds and Disputes
Because blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, refunds are a matter between the payer and the payee: a merchant who wishes to refund a customer simply sends a new payment back. IroPay provides no chargeback mechanism and does not arbitrate commercial disputes. Merchants remain fully responsible for their own legal obligations toward their customers (refund rights, warranties, receipts, taxes).
Currency and Displayed Amounts
- Balances are held in USDC, a stablecoin issued by Circle and designed to track the US dollar 1:1. USDC is not legal tender, and its value depends on its issuer; IroPay LLC does not issue USDC and offers no guarantee of its value.
- Local currency amounts are estimates. Amounts displayed in EUR, GBP, or other currencies are indicative real-time conversions. The actual value of your funds is always denominated in USDC, and exchange rates move.
Acceptable Use and Compliance
You are responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction, including tax, consumer, and sanctions rules. You may not use IroPay for illegal activity. Service availability differs by country: see Availability by Country. We may restrict the service where the law requires it.
The Service
IroPay is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, absence of defects, or the value of any crypto-asset. Nothing in the application is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. We may modify or discontinue features; because the software is non-custodial, your funds remain yours and accessible with your recovery phrase regardless of the service's status.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version and significant changes will be highlighted in the app. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the application; your funds remain accessible to you through any standard Solana wallet.
Operator and Governing Law
The service is operated by IroPay LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Contact: contact@iropay.com.
